The parish was opened at the end of 18-th century. The church all over again was wooden, and then in 1806 a stone church was constructed. The temple was erected in epoch of a classicism. Four its facades were decorated with four-column porticoes. A wide drum
was completed by a semispherical dome and bulbous head. A refectory
connected the church with three-storied bell-tower, topped with a spike. There were 9 bells in a belfry. The church fencing consist of forged lattices,
established between stone columns.
Nothing reminds us in this green square
about existence of St. Barbara church in which the great mathematician was cristened once. In a picture: a monument to soldiers of the law and order.
